Coach Thomas Youth Development is a non-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers. All our equipment – from surfboards to soccer kits – have been kindly donated to us from people all over the world, and it is this generosity which sustains us. German donations - Friends of Waldorf Education
Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners (Friends of Waldorf Education) is a German charity organisation which supports education initiatives around the globe. It also functions as a Volunteer Service, placing volunteers in both international and domestic setting where their help is most needed.
Thanks to our volunteers based in Germany, Friends of Waldorf Education have teamed up with Coach Thomas Youth Development. This means that all donations from Germany can now be sent to CTYD without PayPal, with Friends of Waldorf documenting this individual donation receipts.
As such, if you are from Germany and would like to place a donation, below you will find all the necessary details to make the direct deposit.

The details in the reference are important for the correct booking of the donation. Donations received without an intended purpose will be credited to the International Relief Fund, which supports Waldorf schools / organizations worldwide.

What happens with your donation?
The Friends of Waldorf Education use your donation for Coach Thomas Youth Development and forward 90% of it to the project. We use the retained 10% to offset some of our operating costs.
Recurring donations:
We would be delighted if you would like to support Coach Thomas Youth Development regularly with an amoung of your choosing. In this case, The Friends of Waldorf Education would appreciate if you could issue a SEPA direct debit mandate, which can be revoked at any time without notice. The donations will be debited from your account at the beginning of each month. With the SEPA direct debit mandate, you help to significantly reduce the work involved in the admin of your donation.
Donation receipts:
You will of course receive a donation receipt for submission to the tax office ( in Germany only!) . Donation receipts for one-off donations are shipped approximately quarterly; long-term donors receive a collective confirmation (around the beginning of February of the following year)
What happens to the donor addresses?
The Friends of Waldorf Education use the addresses to send out donation receipts and newsletters. We also receive your address so that we can send you reports. For data protection reasons, we do not pass them on to other third parties.
